District 3 Mixed Pairs, St. George LBC,26 June

It was a different kind of day for Lawn Bowling! Definately one for the dedicated bowlers - the teams in this playdown certainly fall into this category!

Light rain fell during most of the first 2 games. Not enough to require putting out the mats, not enough to get soaked, not enough to call play, just enough to be a little damp! But no bother, the member of the teams were not bothered by the showers at all and the quality of play was first class. Members of both teams were making very difficult shots, and not just a few, one after the other. For the spectators is made for some exciting play!
Congratulations to all the players for a great day. Good luck to the winners when they make the trek to Leaside. District 3 wishes you lot's of luck and good bowling.

Check out the Simcoe and St. George pages for a few pics.
